Fixit is a platform that connects customers with verified service providers for various home and business services including but not limited to electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, AC repair, painting, and gardening services.

3. User Accounts

• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Service Bookings

When you book a service through our platform:

• You agree to pay the fees specified at the time of booking
• Service providers are independent contractors, not employees of Fixit
• We facilitate the connection but are not responsible for the quality of services provided
• Cancellation policies apply as specified at the time of booking

5. Payment Terms

Payment for services must be made through our secure payment system. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and digital wallets. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.

6. Service Provider Responsibilities

Service providers using our platform agree to:

• Deliver services in a professional and timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Respect customer privacy and property

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Fixit acts as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by users or service providers.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of our service will be resolved through our internal dispute resolution process. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on our platform. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
